Systems & Graphics
Languages and runtimes — and the graphics that run on the GPU.
Most software sits on top of software someone else wrote. This space is about being that someone else, on both sides of the GPU: the compilers and runtimes that turn source into running code, and the rendering that turns math into frames. We build small versions of each and open them up.
What you'll build here
- a small language and the compiler that turns it into runnable code
- an emulator that runs a real program, explained end to end
- a WebGPU ray marcher or a software rasterizer you can trace
- compute and fragment shaders, and the math that makes them work
Who it's for
People who read man pages for fun and watch shader demos for hours — who want to write the tools, not just use them.
