Great work, taken on by students who mean it.
The Studio is the paid side of Mandrin. When a real brief comes in, the members who opt in take it on — proper deadlines, a share of the work, and a share of the fee. It stays optional and never comes at the cost of the learning side.
The Studio is new, and no client projects are live yet. The first briefs will be picked up by members of the founding cohort — so reach out early if you have something worth building.
How a project runs.
Four steps, agreed up front. Nothing starts until the scope and the price are settled.
Brief
You describe what needs building and the constraints you are working with. We ask questions until the scope is clear.
Scope & quote
We agree on what is in, what is out, and a price before any work starts. Every brief is scoped first — pricing on request.
Match
Members who opt in and work in the relevant space take it on. You get the people who already build this kind of thing.
Build & deliver
The project runs to an agreed deadline with regular updates. The members who do the work share the fee.
What we take on
- Well-scoped builds in the spaces we work in — ML systems, systems & graphics, and web tooling
- Prototypes, internal tools, and small features that need someone who can go deep
- Work with a real deadline and a clear definition of done
What we don't
- Unscoped work or moving targets — the brief has to be a brief
- Domains outside our spaces; we would rather say no than overreach
- Anything a member would not be paid fairly for

Tell us what you need built. We'll come back with questions, and a scope and price before anything starts.
